Upgrade water pump if installing 4-core radiator??
I was told by a friend that he thinks I have to upgrade my water pump to one that has more flow if I install a 4 core radiator. Is this true?

I have never heard of needing a water pump upgrade for a 4 core radiator, but if you do change your water pump out at some time I recommend OEM GM or AC Delco only.

I put an aluminum hi flow hi pressure pump and all it did was hold the the thermostat closed. Changed back to a parts store pump and all was fixed...

Re: Upgrade water pump if installing 4-core radiator??
I run stock water pumps on all my 4 core radiators (chevys and pontiacs currently) without issue.
Stock pump and radiator in the Ford, so I can't comment on that Esbstuff |
