Blazer lowered need help finding shocks!

I have a 1982 K5 blazer lowered with spindles and springs and I am in need of shocks that have a collapsed Length of around 7-8". Right now they are at 9" and only have 1+" of travel and of course are blown.

Re: Blazer lowered need help finding shocks!

I've never had any problem running stock shocks on the front, even with bags

Re: Blazer lowered need help finding shocks!

Just drill your shock mouting location higher. I have got dropped spindles and cut 3/4 ton springs. I use stock shocks, no problem. CPP.com has got some upper shock brackets for the front that are bolt on. Raises it like 3" I think. I'm using the kyb agr's I think its what their called. Great shock. I pulled them off a stock height suburban and put them on my dropped swb yesterday. Rides good.

Re: Blazer lowered need help finding shocks!

the shortest ive found were for my 67 c10 front shocks. they may be the same exact shock as squarebodies but it wouldnt hurt to check. i think it was like a 8 1/2 collasped length. air shocks for a vw are about 9 and i have a pr of qa1 shocks that were 8
