Still confused
so its been a long while gentlemen almost done with school and been crazy busy got some good news and bad news. My baby was T-Boned by a red light runner last week spun me 180 degrees and slammed me into the curb. was able to speed up last minute so he ran right into the center of my bed passengers side and messed up my rims pretty bad. Good news planned on getting new ones and now i get some credit towards them instead of refinishing the old eagle 212s. The confusion i have is backspacing for static dropped trucks and possibly future bags don't wanna buy rims twice so making sure i get what i want and can afford now. was going to bite my tongue and go with the boss 338 but saw this post and was amazed was told they weren't going to make the eagle 227 in 5x5 http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vboa....php?p=4991423 would like to get them in black 8.5 up front 10 out back 255/40 and 295/40 the specs on the rims are
2272-2882 20.0x8.5 Superfinished with Black center 5 on 5 21 5.500 3260-09 1650 N/A 2272-2883 20.0x8.5 Superfinished with Black center 5 on 5 40 6.250 3260-09 1650 N/A 2272-2885 20.0x8.5 Superfinished with Black center 5 on 5 8 5.000 3260-09 1650 N/A 2272-2850 20.0x8.5 Superfinished with Black center 5 on 5 -5 4.500 3260-09 1650 N/A 2272-2082 20.0x10.0 Superfinished with Black center 5 on 5 2 5.500 2360-09 1650 N/A 2272-2083 20.0x10.0 Superfinished with Black center 5 on 5 14 6.000 2360-09 1650 N/A 2272-2084 20.0x10.0 Superfinished with Black center 5 on 5 45 7.200 2360-09 1650 N/A the body shop owner has a connect at discount tire so hopefully that plays out when i mentioned i wanted the 338 he was all about it. Thanks for the help guys don't wanna be sold or ordered the wrong backspacing with these my 212s tuck like a toy car. |

Re: Still confused
Make sure to have your frame checked out and thoroughly inspected
Or frames are made like red vines and crack like rice cakes. I'm pretty sure she's bent after a t-bone Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Still confused
I agree, seen many threads on here about guys getting T-boned, rear ended, etc and had many problems with frame bent/cracked, suspension, and other things.
