Tach 64-66 questions
Picked up a cluster with a tach, what do i need to keep from wiring & is this the correct Sun tarnsmitter that is needed. Thanks in advance

Personally I wouldn’t keep any of the wiring, except for a template in case you need to follow the wires to determine which wire goes where.
It appears you have an EB-9A 12 volt 8 cylinder transmitter. I’m not sure about factory GMC/Sun tachometers, but aftermarket Sun tachs have a tag on the back of the head listing compatible senders. Hopefully there is some information on the head identifying the compatible part needed. If your truck is a Chevrolet, it’s not clear to me if these used GM or maybe Delco tachs, in which case they probably wouldn’t require a Sun transmitter.
