bolt in lowering shackles

I had tried these shackles http://www.autozone.com/autozone/acc...er=204654_0_0_
awhile ago and took them back because the were about a half an inch to narrow and wouldnt fit without severe force.
What are you guys using that bolt RIGHT IN?

Those are probably 88-up. Just get the right ones.

No issue at the bed support. Im talking they were literally not the right size to fit with the leaf spring.
I was also wondering if it being a "heavy half" ton would habe anything to do with it. Would I have wider springs or are there just more of them?

Re: bolt in lowering shackles

Heavy Half or not, the rear springs were all the same width, 2.5 inches. Probably just cheap shackles.

USS was right, 2.5 inches wide......I suppose I'll get some Bell Techs.
Those seem to be the ones everyone uses.
