VOTE HERE- for 73-87 Calendar Choices!
If you (or another member) submitted multiple photos, I narrowed it to one. Probably the one that I thought would look unique on a calendar. I don't wanna hear "You picked the wrong one"; this is just the way it worked out.
If you nominated someone, PLEASE send them a PM, so they will be following along. IMPORTANT: Regarding the voting... vote for AS MANY as you like. (I think that's how I set it up) vote for your favorites, but please dont vote for all- that will kinda defeat the purpose. But, you don't JUST have to vote for "the ONE" truck you want to win. There will be 12 trucks on the calendar, so we dont need one truck getting the most votes. It will be based on the twelve trucks that get the most votes. If there is a tie for 12th, I may chance the format a little. NOW... here is the part I feel bad about. There will only be 12 months on this calendar. (period) These are a lot of work. SO, if you don't make the 12 truck cut, it's no big deal. I will do another one next year. Just start thinking about a few cool camera angles to capture a good view of your truck. The truth is, I will need those trucks next year, otherwise it will be a boring "repeat" calendar. Just stay active on the forum. So, I will say now... if you make the top 12 this year, you will be ineligible next year. ALSO IMPORTANT: The poll ends on 05/15/12. I will post the winners PLUS two alternates on this thread. It is your responsibility to get me YOUR info in a timely manner. (5/18/12 at the latest) Here is what I need from you: Name (also if you want your first AND last name listed or just your first) City, State Truck stats: year, make, model, package AND... I need the original photo emailed to me in an attachment. I cannot copy and paste or save the one from the board, because the resolution has been lowered. If I do not receive the necessary info by 04/18/12, I will use one of the alternates. I know I seem hardcore, but these are a LOT of work. I can't be taking the time to chase down your info. Therefore, it is your responsibility to follow the thread after 4/15 to see if you made the cut AND follow up with your info. And I will say that on previous calendar polls, I have had to resort to using alternates. I need the truck info AND the original high-resolution photos emailed to me at j.goddard@mdtesting.com If you feel your truck is doing well in the poll, and you are fairly confident you will make the cut, you can send the info immediately. If anyone wants to see all of the photos, they can view the nomination thread at http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=521207 I am not making guesses on the year of your truck either if you didn't post it. We all know that quite a few of our trucks have newer/older clips and even brand's. You can add it below if you wish. So... good luck and enjoy the voting! Re: VOTE HERE- for 73-87 Calendar Choices!
Nah, you were in before the 30 was set, but your truck isn't complete yet, and that was one of the criteria. (I know they are never complete, but at least "mostly" complete) It'll be a SWEET entry for next year though! Get 'er done!

Re: VOTE HERE- for 73-87 Calendar Choices!
I suppose we have differing definitions of mostly. I felt it was visibly complete and presentable per your rules.
Good luck to all those who made it. |

Re: VOTE HERE- for 73-87 Calendar Choices!
This may sound very egoistic- but i love my truck!! ;-)
We have so much great trucks on this board- that a year should have at least 48 month, right?! Volker

Re: VOTE HERE- for 73-87 Calendar Choices!
Right now, 15 votes seems to be the magic #. If you've got 15 or more, you need to be getting me your info so I can have this thing ready to publish after the poll is complete. I realize it ain't over 'til it's over and things can change. But, I can deal with a few changes, but it is nice to have a good jump on it.
and THANKS to the guys who have already emailed me info. Here is what I need from you: Name (also if you want your first AND last name listed or just your first) City, State Truck stats: year, make, model, package AND... I need the original photo emailed to me in an attachment. I cannot copy and paste or save the one from the board, because the resolution has been lowered. I need the truck info AND the original, uncropped high-resolution photos emailed to me at j.goddard@mdtesting.com

I suggest we use his truck for the cover. I know the story ended in horrible circumstances, but he was a well loved member hear despite how his demise came about.
