Gauge bezel or dash cut out info wanted
Hi guys, I am trying to find a way to put 2 5" gauges in my 40 Ford dash. If I remember correctly, the 48-53 chevy/gmc dash's have 2 5" gauges in them with stamped rings around them. Can you purchase a patch panel for these? Or does anyone reproduce them or something like this? I found some billet dual 5" gauge mounts, but that isn't the look I really want. Any help is greatly appreciated. Ryan.

I don't think there are patches so you'd have to buy the whole dash. Your best bet would be to find someone with the part in a cab they aren't using. There are a few guys here that have bits and pieces of chopped up cabs laying around.
Also if you go to a junk yard you can probably find a 1.5+ ton and buy the dash out of it. I see them every so often. |
