mcgaughys drop/disc kit torque specs help

1966 c-10 kit came yesterday. but there is zero installation instructions and zero torque specs. there web site does not show any installation pdf.

my question is do i need to torque the spindle castle nuts ?

or just put them on like i would the main wheel castle nut ?
and
should those castle nuts have washers ?

If you're referring to the main nut that holds the rotor onto the spindle, I believe its very little, around 15lbs, then backed off a hair to the first cotter pin slot.

hey thanks for the reply all the way from the islands.

not the main spindle shaft. i would like to know procedure for fastening spindle to upper and lower 'A' arms.
is there a torque spec for tightening the castle nuts here ?
and is there supposed to be a washer between the castle nut and the body of the spindle where it threads onto ball joints ?

just like the spindle nut ---tighten and then back off to find hole for cotter pin

ok - here is what i found out .
ha - when all else fails read the instructions you have. i have the moog instructions that came with upper and llower ball joints for my 66 c-10.
K6024 upper
K6023 lower
these specs are for tightening the ball joint stud castle nut to the steering knuckle.
K6024 upper - 1/2 dia stud 55-65 ft.lbs
9/16 " 60-80 ft.lbs
5/8 " 75-90 ft.lbs

K6023 lower - 1/2 dia stud 55-65 ft.lbs
9/16 " 65-75 ft.lbs
5/8 " 75-90 ft.lbs
the upper does not mention anything about useing a washer.
however the lower does. for K6023 it says the slotted nut may be a locknut. further it says if a flat washer is supplied insert it over the threads of stud before screwing on castle nut.
further,proper torque sequence states: when low end of torque spec is reached - locate center of cotter pin hole- then thighten just enough to place the cotter pin. in bold letters the instructions say "never back off nut to alighn cotter pin hole".
