Sun Visor Help
The interior sun visor on my 87 Silverado has got to where it falls with the least little bump in the road. My interior color is mahogany so replacing is not an option. Any tricks on how to tighten it up?

Re: Sun Visor Help
This is going to sound a little radical but it works:
Remove the visor at the mounting bracket (3 screws). Wrap it in a towel and clamp it in a vise - then push on it and bend the rod. It doesn't take much of a dogleg to provide enough friction to tighten the visor up. It isn't noticable once back in place and it will stop swinging down. |

I second that remedy.
