Clutch Master/ Slave combos.
Trying to find the best route to finish my NV4500 swap in my 85 K10. Can I use a clutch master out of an 86-87 with a clutch slave out of an 93 and have everything work? Haven't been able to find info about how much fluid a 86 master pushes and how much a 93 slave needs to properly push the throwout bearing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Clutch Master/ Slave combos.
I did find that both the 86 and 93 clutch master cylinders had the same bore .7" so I guess as long as I get enough rod push my idea should work.

Re: Clutch Master/ Slave combos.
I have that combo in my 6.5t truck used the 93 slave and the 86 style master. I'm doing a cummins swap on another 86 I have using the ford and dodge parts on that one. Just put the ford master 95 or so and the dodge slave 95 on another chevy with good results. The ford master needs a wedge between it and the firewall to work good. hope this helps

Re: Clutch Master/ Slave combos.
Sweet, Now just gotta find a pedal out of a 86-87 and let the fun begin. Just glad this will work cuz it will be a fairly cheap 5 spd swap.
