TCC wire and th350 trans

I have a non-lock up th350 behind my 2002 6.0 with a 2002 Tahoe harness/computer. Do I need the TCC wire hooked up or can I just get rid of it?

Does anyone know the asnwer to this question? Does the PCM still needs to know when you apply your brakes even when using a non-electronic tranny?
