New Project!

Just picked this up today, factory 1963 Chevy half ton 4x4. Short box, large back window, v8 and 4 speed. Someone started the restoration but didnt finish, body work is so so, interior is pretty good, full gauge dash and check out that custom painted glove box, yep thats hand painted folks!

Re: New Project!

Lovin' it! If that was my truck, I'd leave it the way it is, just do what I could to get it running. I like the old rusty look!

Re: New Project!

is that original driveline? Great combo, especially with the big window. Not something you see every day in a 4wd 63. And a 63 2wd big window is quite rare... you're out standing in your field!

This is too nice to rob parts for your 1961 restoration and a Big Back Window to boot. Definately worth restoring.

Im gonna put a 283 I have in the shop in it this weekend so i can hopefully drive it and then one day restore it, It is a very unique pickup! dose anyone know wear I could find a break down of how many short box fleet sides were made that year?
