bag psi/ride hight

ok so i have a 1969 C10 with 2.5 drop spindles and D2600 bags front and back..what i want to know is what are the ways to keep my truck low but still have the right psi in the bag for a good ride..? as far as i can tell i can cut down the front bag mounting cups but how low can they be? do i have to use the cups at all? what are my options? thanx im new to the whole bag thing but they are just great

You will need to keep a short cup on there or the bags will chafe. I'll wait to get a reply from someone thats cut their cups, but I "think" 5/8" is about as short as you can go.

Another options is to cup your A-arms.
