Steering wheel and column color opinions

I just picked up a reproduction steering wheel off Craigslist that needs to be painted unless i want it black (which I don't). I have a pretty nice patina-ed white steering wheel on my truck all ready. The cab and column was painted a saddle color that has no metallic in it but is kind of close to the factory fawn color. I was thinking i would paint the new wheel and column with something close to the original metallic fawn. But then i thought i could just paint the column white and leave the old wheel and save the new wheel for another project. I've seen a couple trucks with a white column and wheel with fawn interior that look good. The white steering wheel and fawnish colored column just doesn't look right to me.

Any opinions?
