So after fighting with the dimmer switch my truck wont start. All of my lights work now. It wont even click when i turn the key. Should i have unhooked the battery when doing this?? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Its an 86 c10 with 350.

Re: Changed dimmer switch truck wont start
The dimmer switch shares some of the mounting points as the ignition switch and the ignition switch is adjustable, it sounds like you nocked the ignition switch out of adjustment. Thats where I would start.

Re: Changed dimmer switch truck wont start
Unbolt the column from the dash and drop it down, it will make it a little easier to get to the switch.
