Re: having problems with spindle

Hook the top joint back up and start the nuts on both joints till the nuts or flush with the top of the stud, then put a jack stand under the frame and let the suspension down so that it has pressure on it from the spring. Then take a bfh and smack the crap out of the spindle a few times and it should break loose.

Re: having problems with spindle

If that doesn't do the trick, you can heat the spindle around where the lower ball joint is mounted through and do the same thing. The spindle will expand before the ball joint and will pop right out! Just know that if you heat it you may want to replace that ball joint cuz all the grease will prolly melt out. Can't remember if factory joints have zerks.
