Truck back on the road.

Well after three long days of trying get a balnacer i finnaly got it and put everything back together. truck seems to have a little more spunk now that the balancer is new and a new timing chain. also no leaks. yes always a good thing. but isnt there always one of those. ok but now my truck under load has a valve rattle and im thinking either i have my timing off. or the thick oil 20/50 is to much and not coating fast enough. this is the only time the rattle shows is when the truck is underload and after i get going it goes away until i have to stop and take off again. any ideas on what i could do. also my carb is running rich and it smells like theres alot of excess gas after i shut the truck off. Any help would be appreciated.
