Finally on the road!!!!!!!!

I picked up my ride today. After a year of wanting to go topless, I did. Took out twice and it rained, oh well. I'm sure I'm going to put more miles on it. I love everything about it. There alot of small bugs to get outbut that is part of the fun.

Re: Finally on the road!!!!!!!!

Very nice!
The first few drives in a project are the best, just as long as a major gremlin don't make you stranded.

Looks like you got it all together nicely, now the sweet part of just going for a drive when ever you want.

What is the color? Just burnt orange? And it looks to have some metallic to it?

Re: Finally on the road!!!!!!!!

I love that color, I have a PPG paint book - is it Burnt Orange Effect 44471? My 72 CST goes in tomorrow for paint, burnt orange and Saturn Gold below trim line. I really like the 68 trim, Mar-K makes a 68 kit for 72's. I can't wait to get it all back together and go topless too.

Re: Finally on the road!!!!!!!!

The paint is a jeep color from 2 years ago, Mango Tango. The first gremlin I had was finding out the motor was bad, so I had a 402, now it's a 454 450 HP.

Re: Finally on the road!!!!!!!!

That came out really nice, gotta luv the '68 trim, and the old school look wheels...

Let me define gremlin for you....step on brakes and you blow a fuse
Bad motor is more then a gremlin

Good luck with your ride, did i say it looks nice, more pics!

Re: Finally on the road!!!!!!!!

Great looking truck!! I hate it when the trusty iphone lies about the weather and it rains when I have taken the blazer out.
