Using Stock Upper and Lower A Arms With Air Bags

Can I use my stock upper and lower a arms with a air bag setup or do I need to purchase some after market tubular arms.

No you can use your oem parts.
You will need a bottom cup and upper plate though.
Check out ride tech or Porterbuilt

Do you know anything about shimming the upper arm? I guess what im asking is should I expect to use more or less shims?

It might be a few more if anything, but I could be wrong. You do however, want to figure out where your ride height will be, and align the truck at that height. This will give you the best wear on the tire at the height that sees the most drive time.

Possibly a little off topic but are the upper front shock relocaters necessary? If so where can i buy them separately?

cpp sells shock extenders, to use your original shocks.

but depending on how low you go, there are shocks off of a 50's model chrysler car if i remember right..that bolt right in and are shorter than stocks. thats what i have in my suburban
