Near new take off 87 fleetside box
I had saved this box for years for a project K20 that never came to be and I have had it setting around just too long. The box is a 8 foot fleetside in solid gray metallic from a 1987 Custom Deluxe model with no factory mouldings on that model. Dual gas doors still in place along with the fuel injection emblem but no tail lights. It was used lightly and not abused for a few months out in NW Nebraska and there is zero rust or scale on it. Factory chalk body # still easily seen on the bottom of the panels. Some paint scrapes in the bed floor. The tailgate has a pretty good dent on the outside at the top RH outside skin so it would need replaced for a show truck but very useable for a driver. I have replaced the front bed panel with a new one and still in black factory primer. The rest of the box is factory paint and clean both bottom and topside. No extra holes in the bed or tops of the bed rails but it did have a factory installed tire side mount that was not there when I got the box. If there is a serious interest I will take pictures but the complete box is priced at $1000 firm. I would also offer a nos Chevrolet stamped GM tailgate for an additional $200 to the buyer of the box.
Thanks.

Re: Near new take off 87 fleetside box
Mark, do you still have this bed? My folks got their fair share of snow and caused one of our sheds to collapse on his K30 we spruced up a couple of years ago. It has hit the top of the cab which appears to be repairable, but the bed might as well get replaced while at it. Thanks Trevor

Re: Near new take off 87 fleetside box
Yes Trevor I still have it setting over at the shop. I missed this post somehow.
It is a nice box worthy to go on a frame up restoration. Mark
