Goodmark Cowl Hood
Say guys, I just got my Goodmark Cowl hood and I am having trouble getting it to close correctly. I made the mistake of slamming it and now I have two barely visible dents where my hands were....driving my nuts that I did that...doh Anyone have any ideas as to why I cant get it to close easily? I think it is hitting the latch mechanism incorrectly. Looks as if I need to move the latch toward the grill a little. I have the hood back as far as it can go before the back of it starts rubbing the top of the engine compartment thing....not sure what you call that piece...duh. Any help would be appreciated.

If Goodmark hoods re-use all the factory parts off the old hood, have you tried adjusting the "dog pecker" piece that bolts to the hood? It sounds like that is hitting the core support instead of latching correctly.

Wow, you must have really slammed the crap out of that hood. You need to lay off the roids or something. Take a deep breath next time and call somebody to come help you out. Or get another beer, put a dip in, smoke a cigarette, or all the above in some cases.

Unfortunately all my buddies live far far away that know anything about important stuff like this and I am left here by myself to tackle these horrific feats. But a dip, beer...no puffs would have helped....prob put me to sleep. You still selling those leaf springs?

Definitely. You interested? Tip top condition. I don't know, I was thinking about keeping them to help out with the suspension on a huntin' buggy I am putting together. The price may have just gone up.
