Firewall disconnect

Not sure if our trucks came like this or if this was a previous owner mod but my 66 has a large square disconnect on the firewall that looks like it manages the main wiring harness.

If this is original on a 66, what have you all done to remove/modify this when installing an aftermarket wire harness?

Looks like this:

G-R-E-A-T!
I'll prolly find some butchered up metal when I pull this thing off. Oh well, I'm thinking a piece of sheetmetal with a round hole/grommet and I'll be GTG...i hope...

I pulled most of my original wiring harness out and replaced it with the harness from a 91 burb, I think we saved the old harness, you are more than welcome to it if you want it. Kieth

ps mine is a 66 gmc not chevrolet
