Just scored a pretty nice FREE!!! 87 longbed for parts, Doin the 5.3 swap in my 85 shortbed, anyone have a part number for an intank pump i can put in the 87 tank?

Yes the '87 tank will fit in any '73-'87

They will in respect to the size. 16 Gal. will replace earlier 16 gal., 20 gal. will replace earlier 20 gal. tanks. The only other difference may be in the size of the filler neck and vent tubes. When the filler neck ghanged to the door style, the neck is slightly larger, and will require an adapter be made for the hoses to work.

solidaxel: If you can get the rest of the lines off of the '87 as well, you should be able to use all of it for the return style fuel system. use a union that will take the pressure and mathe the lines at the back of the manifold. That should work great, and be able to use a factory '87 fuel filter as well.
