Re: Can someone ID this disc crossmember..
Judging by the steel bushed arms and disc spindles, if its all original, I'd say yes, it's 71-72

Re: Can someone ID this disc crossmember..
My rear axle from backing plate-backing plate is 56"
Do I have the wide rearend? truck is a 69 or 70 Im not sure how to tell..... Going to look for axles if its the wider of the 2. Will any 71-87 5 lug axle slide in if its indeed the wide rear?

Re: Can someone ID this disc crossmember..
I think that's the wider version. Check wheel mounting surface--it should be 63.5". If so, later 5-lugs will swap right in...

So take the wheels off and check drum-to-drum?
I'll do it in the AM would be nice if it was the wide version... 71-87 axle? or just 7172

Re: Can someone ID this disc crossmember..
Who makes the best/cheapest drop spindle 2.5"
http://www.performanceonline.com/71-...e-2-half-inch/ http://www.earlyclassic.com/catalog.aspx http://www.summitracing.com/search/Y...=drop+spindles I liked ECE but for the extra $25..... Also I can find a few other things for front suspension via summit bushings shocks and maybe replacement Bj's and suspension parts (if they carry moog or similar)
