fuel filter fuel bracket

What does the original fuel filter bracket look like in an 87? does it have one?


mine was just held on with a metal strap. I a going to redo all my fuel line and would like to get them as close to original as i can

If im not mistaken and I could be wrong it came with a Quadra jet (Quadra junk) carb which had the fuel filter in the front of the carb.

The fuel filter on an '87 is a canister about 5-6" long. It should be on the inside of the framerail just behind the cab on the right side.

Negative. 1987 = TBI, which is a cannister style filter mounted along the frame rail as Jonboy mentioned.

It is attached in a big rubber isolated clamp. I'll try to remember to take a pic while I'm out there this evening.
