C15 shortbed 2wd driveshaft length?

Who knows the measurment of the stock driveshaft with short tail th350? The truck is GMC C15 1982 shortbed stepside I want to make an order for aluminum driveshaft but dont know the measurment and I never dealt with this problem before

You'll want to talk to whomever you're getting your driveshaft from and ask them how they want you to take the measurements.

Each shop seems to have their favorite way of measuring.

I've even had them have me go back and "re-do" my measurements because they didn't like the way I did it.

My 74 swb had a th350 short tail(6in) and a 12bolt rear end. From center ujoint to center ujoint is 59.5in. Not sure if those measurements are the same with a 10bolt.
