73-87 truck rearend measurements?

can anyone tell me the measurement backing plate to backing plate plus leaf spring center bolt to center bolt?

i think backing plate to backing plate is 56".

center of spring pad to center of spring pad is 43"

Why do you need to know?

Oh. In that case i think you're going to have to install new spring pads in which case you could just copy your 64's positions.

But i'm not 100% sure---it may bolt in.

My 73 and 74 1/2 tons are 64" from outside drum to outside drum. Ive got a 72 5 lug coil spring rear thats the same. The 6 lug rears are narrower by 1 1/2". 1 ton rears are always wider.
