72 Chevy Engine questions
What size of cam can I put in my 350 without installing a stall converter. I've been told that if I install too much of a cam it'll take away from my power brakes

Way more questions than answers here.,,, A cam is more about a host of other things than brakes and convertor.
Off the hip, and knowing the lame compression that came about in the early 70's... Fair guess is a 268H (its 218° @ 0.050 and only .46 lift),,, it's about all your stock configuration will support, and supply vacuum for the brakes,,,,, and will work with stock rockers, valve springs, piston clearance, exhaust, intake, convertor, gears, most emissions.... etc. But that's just one suggestion
