2" Wide Leaf Spring Blocks - Where to buy
I'm looking for a supplier for 2" WIDE Leaf Spring drop blocks. Worst case we can make a set, but wanted to see if anyone sells them.
Thanks in advance. Nate

Re: 2" Wide Leaf Spring Blocks - Where to buy
Found these...
http://www.butchscoolstuff.com/store...ct_detail&p=70 Any other cheaper alternatives? Would 1/4 or thicker square tubing with a grade 8 bolt be strong enough?

I like these solid aluminum blocks.
http://www.jagsthatrun.com/Pages/Par...ng-Blocks.html But they are 2.5" wide. Get me some dimensions,... and I'll see if I can make some.

Re: 2" Wide Leaf Spring Blocks - Where to buy
You are limited because of the 2" wide spring.....the last set I bought I got from Butch's.
Might check over on the Hamb....lots of old cars ran 2" leaf springs.

What vehicles did these come on from the factory?

Re: 2" Wide Leaf Spring Blocks - Where to buy
A lot of trucks, small 2wd and 4x4's. Just ask at the junk yard and see if they save them. We have a bus of blocks, all sizes and u bolts at our wrecker's here.

Re: 2" Wide Leaf Spring Blocks - Where to buy
Your welcome, I used to work at a junk yard and still bought new parts only for years..then woke up one day and realised most things are reuseable if in good shape and way cheaper, sometimes need a bit of modifying but usually quite a selection. Good luck.
