what i have been working on!
Console:
ok ok, now i know its not as nice as mikes. but its my first time with a few tools and short on time. it still turned out ok, and of course its not covered in leather or whatever mike did his in, but its what i had, it was cheap and it works! Tire Carrier: Utility Light: yeah i know GM made one of these, but i already had the parts i needed. again.. CHEAP MOD!

it looks good and functional to me, as long as it does what you need it to do that's all the matters. I put a console in mine....I went down to Autozone, spent 5 or 6 bucks and got a plastic one with cup holders......HAHAHA.......quit laughin' it works...

I bet that light comes in real handy. You need a bigger spare tire on there

Glad to see you got the console working. Looks good. Also that light worked out great for you. Spare tire holder different from what I thought it would look like but function or fashion is the way to go.

I was thinking more like a triangle frame with a side on the floor then the point (other sides) coming up at a 45 degree angle then have a kicker leg to hold that point up behind it. Then have the tire sitting on the hold down in the middle of that.

yeah i think i understood that! LOL, its actually backwards from the ones i have seen, but it works how i wanted it too and was fairly easy to build. took 3 hrs and we didnt have a clue what we were doing, if we made jigs, it would only take us about an hour or so to do it again.
