TH400 to 700r4

Hows it going guys, quick question, I just swapped my original TH400 with a 700R4, will my stock speedometer cable work with it? Thanks in advance

Yes. As long as it has a mechanical cable drive. It may not be acurate but it is easy to juggle the driven gear at the outlet on those.

Re: TH400 to 700r4

It is a mechanical cable drive. The end of the cable is squared and so is the transmission outlet. But it seems as if the squared trans outlet is a little bigger than the squared speedo cable inlet?
I don't want to mess up the cable or anything, so I thought I'd ask. Not sure if GM made different sized mechanical cables or not.
