62' VIN Number Missing Factory Location

I was wondering if anyone has come across this issue:

I was trying to decipher the VIN number on my truck, but it looked like my DMV registration had a mistake on the VIN number. So, I went and checked the VIN plate located inside the door opening on the driver's side.

First thing I noticed was that the VIN plate wasn't where I was expecting it to be on a '62; it was located just a little higher than the steering wheel on the A Column. Then, I check the VIN, and it is the same as what the DMV has on the registration. What is weird is that the VIN follows all the information from Chevy EXCEPT that where the Factory Code is supposed to be, there is just a "0"

The VIN is: 2C1440113663 - any ideas?

Thanks! All the lists I was looking at did not have the Oakland plant listed. That means that the truck is a local truck. Good to know.

You were probably looking at slightly later list of plants. I think the Oakland plant stopped making trucks when Fremont production started.
