Bulb socket question

Ok, im replacing all the wiring in my truck, literally all of it from headlights to tail lights.

Im going to replace all bulb sockets while im at it but i need to know which sockets to buy.

I have a 1984 pickup, i know the tail/brake/turn lights are 2057's i know the front sidemarkers and rear corner markers are all 194 wedge bulbs.

What i need to know is what are the front turn signal bulbs?

I think they were single 2057's per side however i have switched my front end to a newer bodystlye and now have the dual signals/markers per side not the single bulbs the stock front end had. I know i had to cut the original single bulb base's at the tabs to get it to fit into the dual bulb fixture, i have been running with only a single bulb per side and this is part of why im buying the proper bases and going to real dual bulbs per side.

what is the correct base for the dual bulb fixtures? is it a 3057?

Re: Bulb socket question

For your instrument bulbs, I think the 168's are brighter than the 194's......go brighter!

If you are feeling lucky, take the whole cluster out, clean it real good, and hit it with some choke paint. It will reflect better and make your dash gauges look a lot brighter!

Re: Bulb socket question

maybe i wasnt clear, im talking about the turn signal/markers on the front grill, below the headlights, not the cluster.

I think they are 3057 on the dual bulb per side front end but need verification on that if possible.
