Here is my new 66 Shortbed Fleetside

Well I sold my patina 63 bbw shortbed. Guy called up out of the blue and wanted it, so its going to a good home. Didn't take very long, I found a truck a day later. I figured I'd post it, I'm sure guys on here will be able to appreciate it. Believe it or not I bought this truck to air bag C notch & put a 350/700R4 in for a little hotrod. But after it got here I can't bring myself to cut it up so... here it is. 1966 shortbed Fleet mostly all original with 19,127 miles documented. Its had one respray but pretty much OG other wise. Everything works too even the OG radio.

I love it. Hot rod/ slam bag guys having second thoughts. Very cool.
It's a sweet little truck for sure, and it would make one fine little stocker, but it's already been redone once so no huge loss to do it again and suit your personal taste. Enjoy!

I dont think I can cut it. It's not redone just painted. thats the OG wiring and bed floor. The tks a time warp other than a spary. underneather is perfect og floor & braces never been touched. og shocks etc. You have to see it to believe it!

I already bought another to cut up.

Thumbs up Re: Here is my new 66 Shortbed Fleetside

That's for sure a nice find. Cutting that one up is kinda like having a $10K-paint job done on a mechanically-built-to-your-tastes truck. You seem to NEVER enjoy driving it as much as before, 'cause you miss the freedoms to drive it and park it wherever you wish. And the real kicker--in both cases-- is that you can never reverse that decision!
