Mar-K is the best place for bed parts.

I was just poking around the Mar-K website and sure like the way they have it set up and the way that they price things out so you can delete and or add items on the kits.

These guys aren't cheap but they sure have some interesting wood available.

Re: Oak Bed Kit for 1956 3100

make your own, i used a table saw, but it would be easy to make with a skill saw too.
i doubt that you would have more than $125 into a kit

mar-k is the best place to buy the bed strips
i used 1/8x1.25x1.25 angle iron for the bed angles
boltdepot.com has bolts in boxes of 100 for less than half the price of the kits from vendors

and for those of you that might be interested... or want something different
truk has a trex bed wood floor, plastic decking from home depot
