Talking new member

Hey all I'm Joe from central pa and this weekend I'm picking up my 72 c10 lwb
so the guy has a lt1 from a police car and all the wiring my question is is how do I hook it all up and what all do I need out of the car? And do I need to hook up the o2 censors?

Re: new member

I'm new to the boards as well. Ill introduce myself as William friends call me billy . I have had my first chevy for a year now a 1972 c20 . Finally got it driveing Now it's my Dailey drive to work and my Friday night cruiser when I can afford the gas. A little info on my truck seeing as I love it so much . It's a 1972 cheyenne camper custom with leaf spring suspension in the rear dana 60 open carried diff with 4.10 gears engine is 402 bbc with th400 tranny colors are white / ochre / white. I've rebuilt my axles bearings brakes new gaskets for valve covers got my gauges working installed a tach and small work here and there not sure of all my mileage but I'm so far sure the truck is all original with a possible replacement 402 . Block casting number matchs year but date code maybe off. Il try and get back when I can fellas be workin alot . Any questions or general 72 conversation is welcome . Trying to learn everything I can

Re: new member

Mine says 12,000 but I can probley be sure it's more like 112,000 . I'm the 4th owner it went from father to son then to my father and now to me. No idea what the first owners did I found evidence of a alarm system a fifth wheel and a friend other things I am in no need of . Block castings/ stamp shows 72 402 replacement . At least it's correct for the model. Need plenty of info right now if any ones familiar with 1972 c20s message me. Sorry for thread jacking. Great pics every one looking forward to seeing more
