Yay!! Got back "into" my burb today!!
So, I havent really worked on my Burb since summer, I got frustrated with the many starter problems (its the flywheel, Im still working on saving money to get that replaced) and other things. Well I woke up this morning and decided to get back to the interior. I had made my inside panels last summer and was already to install them and it seemed like things just kept comming up, and there she sat. I finally got one of my panels in today!! YAY!! I had to trim down the rear part of this one and also had to repaint, will have to get on it tomorrow. I used 1/4 in "backerboard", kinda like they use to back dressers with, cut with a jigsaw and painted with shiny acrylic black paint. It feels so good to get back into it. Hate that I have to go back to work and school on Friday though....*sigh*
Oh... and my "little helpers" are about to "help" the sanity right out of me... lol

Re: Yay!! Got back "into" my burb today!!
Dang y'all, I forgot about this post. Thanks for all the comments. I finished the interior, I am very happy with it. Only major thing I have left is the headliner. I just haven't figured out what I want to do with it yet. I got the starter issues resolved, FINALLY. The main prob was the flex plate, it was worn bad. So between replacing that and rebuilding the starter, my fix it guy has prevailed. She starts like a dream. Next week I can go get insurance it and finally get it registered. I still have Ga plates and need to transfer to FL. Plus I put a non op on it cause I knew it would be sitting a while. So... Hopefully, in about a week or so she will be street legal again. Really getting excited!
Thanks y'all! Xoxo junk Posted via Mobile Device

Congratulations on getting your starter headache resolved!
I know that it has really been a nagging issue for a long time, and I bet you are totally looking forward to getting the burb out on the road again!

Re: Yay!! Got back "into" my burb today!!
Thanks Chris! I still cringe every time I go to start. Bt so far so good. Gotta change out my wiper motor too. We get rain all summer long here, and currently, the wipers barely move outta their tracks, lol.
