From th350 to 700R4 e-brake cable
I am switching trans from TH350 to 700r4.
Currently I have the short cables from the rear drums to the travel arms where they are mounted and joined by a split c connector to the longest cable. The long cable is running from the split c connectors on both travel arms to the crossmember where it gets its tension and can pivot. My question is what cable (longest one) are you guys using with your 700r4's? My truck is a LWB!! I ask this because my swap means the cross member is going to be moved back and then the long cable will be too long. Has someone else done this and if so what cable length did you use? What you need to do is to change over to the 66 and up parking brake configuration, here is a picture, and parts if you want to order from them.

I basically have this set-up, but my Interm cable is goign to be too long to re-use. as the 700 trans moves my crossmember back towards the rear-end..
