Towing an Airstream with a lifted Burb

Looks like with my girlfdriend's tax return this year, we are getting a 1964 Airstream, either a 26 or 28 footer....can't remember right off hand.

Our tow rig for now is an 85 3/4ton 4x4 diesel Suburban with a 4" lift and 35" tires. Eventually, my 67 suburban or my 60 gmc will be the tow vehicle but they aren't quite road worthy yet.

A good friend of mine has an extra anti-sway set up that I'm pretty sure they will sell us once we get the Airstream.

I was wondering if there is a drop hitch available (with the anti-sway) that will work on the 85 Burb.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Towing an Airstream with a lifted Burb

I can't really help with the drop hitch question (there should be something out there, I would think - especially with all the H2 guys that pull trailers) but congratulations on the purchase!

My wife has an eye toward a vintage trailer of some kind, probably an Airstream. Make sure and post pics once you get it!
