Rear end covertiom kit

Does anyone have pictures or an idea where to look for installation instructions on what all is involved in using one of these rear end covertiom kits?

A rear end conversion kit could mean a few different things. Just what are you referring to? Brakes, suspension, complete rear end?

Oh, sorry for the confusion;
I currently have a 1972 5x5 3.73 rear end in my 1965 C10 LWB.
I just finished swaping the trans to a 700r4. My current rear end is presenting a metal on metal slack/grinding noise, which only occurs under a load.
I run her up on stands and spun the rear tires in gear and buy hand and can not produce the same noise! I swapped trans because of this noise so both transmissions can not be producing the same noise.
Big expense but on the better side... I have the trans now that I always wanted with the lockup kit installed!
So my reference is to the rear end convertion kit, which will allow me to run a newer rear end, say from 73-87. Also is there a kit that comes with the shock relocater's so I can match the OEM mounting geometry?

So if you have a different rearend is your pinion angle right?

I have opened the diff up and there small gouges in the ring gear teeth, lost of rust and trash in the bearings.
I want to just find a direct swap rear from a 71-72 to get me my 5 lug and just bolt it in but that is turning out to be a problem too! Finding a rear in those years is not easy!
So the next method would be to get a conversion kit and use 73-87 rear!
But I can seem to find the installation instructions for the process of adding a conversion! kit

To install a '73-'87 differential under your truck, there will be cutting and welding involved. The original leaf spring pads and shock mounts will need to be cut off. Then new trailing arm mounts will need to be welded to the new differential, ensuring the correct pinion angle. Then you will need to weld on a mount for a panhard bar, which will likely need to be longer than your current panhard bar. The only thing I offer that would be of help are the trailing arm mounts. I believe CPP and ECE sell kits which include what would be needed.

If it were me, I would check into rebuilding the differential you have. If you purchase another differential, and go to the expense and work of the swap, you will still have a used differential, that could also have problems later if not sooner. If you rebuild your current differential, that will be the final part of your drivetrain that will be new.

I am leaning towards replacing mostly because the housing has so much crap inside of it I feel I can never get it all completely clean. I had cleaned it good prior to putting it under the truck but now that I have noise and have reopened it I see I did not get it clean at all. Crap inside everywhere! It looks like mud inside and that is eating my bearings and races!
If I get a newer rear it will be used but it will have less miles on it and I could fresh'n it up a bit. I am only wanting a curser nothing with major HP.
I would still want the drum rear, as I am all set up now for it. At the
moment I am still on the hunt for a rear though.

I just replaced my rearend last weekend on my 66 with a used one from a 72 its pretty straight frwd.
Most evry thing bolts up .however now I got a new noise to figure out.but I think its minor though , just aligning the u joints.they have to be within a few degrees of each other or major vibration and noise.
The question is do you have coils or leaf on the 65

yep I found a donor 72', so it will go in this weekend! Thanks everyone!
oh I have coils, 5 x 5 and my last rearend came from a 72 as well, so it should go right in there!
Just have to (pull it) put all my new brake stuff on there and change the fluid while I am at it..
