seatbelts in your burbs
Has anyone else installed seatbelts in the back seats of your burb? I have and have them attached to the bolts that hold the seat to the floor(they are all new, with locknuts). Only problem I'm having is as I tighten down the seat after re-installing it, the floor bracket is bending up. The other concern I have is if I'm in an accident, with they hold? Any thoughts or suggestions on this? I'm fairly new on this site, and welcome any and all ideas.
Thanks |

Re: seatbelts in your burbs
Drill them a separate hole and use a 4" fender washer or a piece of flat stock if you don't feel comfortable with them the way you have them

Re: seatbelts in your burbs
Thanks guys. I bought some steel tubing a few years ago, as I was going to run some bolts through them and through the frame to make sure they held.

I added seat belts by adding seats.

Re: seatbelts in your burbs
Nice seats, LT1. What are they out of? I have my original big seat, but eventually when funds allow, want the small original seat.

Re: seatbelts in your burbs
Those are the 3rd seats out of a Yukon or Tahoe.

Re: seatbelts in your burbs
I have a like new set of 3rd row from an 05 Denali that I was going to use and a pair of buckets from a 2000 Caddy for the front. They also have the integrated belts.
