Anyone here done one? I saw that No Limit was the only vendor right now that has a kit.....

Would like to see a side view of the truck with the kit installed if you have a pic or two.

Balls power windows, formally vintage glass! They have kits for reasonably in expensive...

I put the No Limit kit in mine. The instructions that come with it only cover a small part of it. There is a lot of patience needed and a lot of grief throughout. Also some reinforcing of the door, to make it more rigid, because you have to cut some of the inside of the door out, and it gets weakened a little with the vent assembly taken out also. I wrote down a bunch of tips on a lot of points of the install. It involves cutting and welding, and a fair amount of foul language. I have over 40 hours in each door, no kidding. There is endless adjustments and tweeking. I must have had the glass in and out a hundred times. I will share the points I wrote down with anyone who wants them. Here are some pics, also get the window switches shown so you can use the stock window cranks. Can't remember where I bought them. I really like the look of taking the vent window out.

I too love the look of the 1-piece. Considered doing mine; that was until I read horror stories concerning the install process--some maybe even worse than rustbucket66 described.

BTW: rustbucket66, I love the looks of your finished product AND the way you reinforced the inside where you mounted your switch--altho' I can't quite visualize how you did it w/out cutting the entire inside door panel and welding it back. (Do you ever caution a 'new' passenger to NOT attempt to roll down his window?)

rustbucket66, think I see it now--inside panel just goes down to bottom of top door-insert. Was trying to make it cover entire door--duh--it must be late 'cause I know I'm not quite that old yet.
