Cragar soft 8 question

I have seen a few posts about these wheels before, I would like to run 17 inch wheels on my 1991 burb and I like the look. Does anyone have photos of these on a square?
The reason I decided to repost this issue was this question. In the past the concern has been brought up about the wheels being non dot approved. Lots of the custom builds right now are using custom milled wheels , whats the difference between custom milled and non dot approved?

I love the look and the price, not excited about the weight , but if I can see how they fit I will probably go for it.
Was thinking 17's and a reasonable drop , maybe 4 inch.

Thanks
Keith

Re: Cragar soft 8 question

I just use them on my "fun tires" for cruises and what not. This is the only pic I have. Probably not much help since I only have them on the rear but maybe you get the idea how they look. I do plan on getting some for the front to even out things went I do put the rears on.

Re: Cragar soft 8 question

Fit is just fine since they have the same specs as my Convo-Pros. I don't have them for the front as of yet but I am planning on getting them. The price is reasonable enough to warrant getting some to keep the appearance balanced. Only reason I have them in the first place was I needed a low priced wheel to keep my slicks mounted on. Even tho I have access to a tire machine, it got old real quick dismounting the radials, throwing on the slicks, and then taking them back off and remounting the radials. Now come cruise-in times or burnout competitions, all that is needed is just a matter of a simple swap. A lot of people thought I should keep the blacked out look. I prefer my shiny ones for everyday appearances but it would be nice to change her looks when times call for it.
