Front plastic "skid plate"?
I am referring to the plastic part right behind the bumper? I was wondering what the true term for this part? And does anyone make an aluminum one, or some after market one besides just plastic?

Not sure about an aftermarket one, but a replacement is pretty cheap, around $25 list at your friendly local GM dealer.

Re: Front plastic "skid plate"?
I figured that. But it busted so easily today, I think I would like to get a metal one.
Was wondering what the name was so I could google search. Front skid plate pulls up the pushbar style items which is not what I'm looking for. :EDIT: Ive been thinking about possibly making my own and adding another fan to the engine bay. But I'm thinking that would not help as much as it would cost. |

They are called skid plates. Don't think anyone makes one.

Build one yourself and then market it.
