water piump question
I heard of a few guys mentioning that the "newer" silverado water pumps cleared the car intakes better is that the case? my other question is (i work at a parts store so I checked the water pumps) I see that they used the same water pump from 99-06 then in 07+ they changed it, will the 07+ water pump fit my 99 block? will I have to do any other modifications to belt system or to the pump/intake to make a car intake fit?

Re: water piump question
The new truck water pumps do clear them. I just put one on my 02 5.3. Over a quarter inch of clearance.

Re: water piump question
They won't clear with a DBW throttle body, you have to use a cable TB.
