big block intake
what kind of intake is needed to replace the tbi system on a 1988 454. I am thinking of going to a carb. instead of the tbi unit. will any oval port intake work ?

Oval port will work yes. Tbi uses peanut ports though and so far Weiand is the only manufacturer for that specific port
