Axle flip
I'm wanting to do an axle flip on my 1972 c-20 and was wondering if just a small bolt on c notch would provide enough suspention clearance? and if there are and small details i should be aware of. Any helpful comments are welcome

Re: Axle flip
Well if you have a coil spring rear it will lift the rear.
I will assume you have a truck equipped with the optional leaf spring rear, and stock springs. A small notch will be fine. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Axle flip
Just did this write up in the Suspension thread the other day. No notch on my 1500, does great over speed bumps and railroad tracks. I did hit axle to frame on a pot hole but the button bump stops kept it from being metal to metal. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=577529
