Hello from Central Oregon!
After many years admiring old trucks I recently took the plunge and found a 1964 Chevy K10. It is a factory 4x4, Stepside, 292 6 cylinder, 4-speed, in Arctic White. It's not perfect- some rust on the lower fenders and one door- but it's pretty clean overall.
I'll be soaking up all the information I can in order to get rid of the rust and keep it nice and healthy as a daily driver here in the PNW. My main question for now is regarding parts: I prefer to locate either NOS or really nice OEM parts for any repairs, but if that isn't an option who makes/stocks high quality trim parts, panels, etc? Any advice or help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Jeff |

Re: Hello from Central Oregon!
Welcome to the site from anoughter new member. It sounds like you have a pretty rare truck as I would think most of the old 4x4 got rough treatment. When your truck was new people only bought 4x4 if they really needed it. Today people think you need 4 wheel drive to go shopping. Would love to see some pics.
