Side window replacement Question

Hey guys, I'm replacing a side window in my 86 c10 with new glass. I've got it all out and removed. I have to swap the track over, I've got the track off the old glass, notice that the rubber inlay is crap and only removing in chunks. what do you suggest using to adhere the window to that track? thanks!

Re: Side window replacement Question

iv seen people use stuff like rubber gasket seal in a tube but you should just be able to go online and order a new rubber inlay

Re: Side window replacement Question

get a new gasket and also make sure that the new glass is the same thickness as the old one... I have a few over here and when I needed to replace the one on my 82 I found out some of the older glasses are thicker and make it difficult to roll up especially with new felt
