Brake adjustment on 63 panel

Need some help, if possible. I just purchased a 1963 panel and the seller had put in front disks with drum rears. I purchased and installed a CPP power booster to help with the braking. Twice I have the brake heat up and tried to readjust. Any ideas how to successful solve this problem? Thanks for any ideas.

Re: Brake adjustment on 63 panel

Is it the fronts or the rear drums that are heating up?
If it's the rears, I had that problem on mine, because I put the shoes on "backwards." The short one goes in the front, the longer one goes in the rear. I had them backwards. ("short" and "long" being the length of the brake material)
